Karthi New Film Vaa Vaathiyaar Hit with Controversy

Karthi's latest film 'Vaa Vaathiyaar' / Annagaru Vostaru in Telugu was set to release on December 12, but it's been put on hold due to a financial dispute. The Madras High Court has stopped the film's release until further notice.

The problem started when financier Arjunlal approached the court, saying he wasn't paid his dues by the film's producer, Gnanavel Raja. The court agreed and issued an interim order to stop the film's release.

'Vaa Vaathiyaar' is an action packed film directed by Nalan Kumaraswamy, starring Karthi and Kriti Shetty. Karthi plays a tough police officer, and the film is expected to be a thrilling ride. The film will be released in Telugu as 'Annagaru Vostaru'.
