Alhanda 2 Thaandavam Postponed Indefinitely

When everyone is getting into a frenzy mode to watch Akhanda 2, a huge shock came with the announcement of premiere shows, scheduled for today, have been cancelled due to unforeseen financial issues. The production team, 14 Reels Plus, cited technical issues and unavoidable circumstances as the reason behind the cancellation. The film's premiere shows in India were initially expected to go ahead as planned, but the Telangana government's clearance and financial hurdles put a spanner in the works.

The financial troubles surrounding Akhanda 2 are substantial, with the makers reportedly spending a massive budget and taking money from multiple financiers. Despite efforts from industry bigwigs to resolve the issue, the amounts involved are too large, and distributors have failed to pay committed amounts. Some distributors have only paid half of their agreed upon amounts, leaving the production team in a tight spot. As a result, overseas premieres are also being cancelled, and the film's release has been officially postponed.

The production team expressed their disappointment and apologized to fans, stating that they are working tirelessly to resolve the matter. They promised to share a positive update soon and acknowledged the support of their fans. The film's new release date will be announced once the issues are sorted out.

Akhanda 2, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, was expected to hit screens on December 5, 2025. The film's postponement has come as a shock to fans, who were eagerly awaiting its release. The movie's budget is reportedly around ₹200 crore.
