Mohanlal is set to join Rajinikanth for Jailer 2's shoot in early December, with filming scheduled for December 2 and another schedule from December 21-24. The film is already generating massive buzz, with Ramya Krishnan and Mirnaa reprising their roles as Vijaya Pandian and Swetha Pandian, respectively. Anirudh Ravichander returns as the music composer, adding to the excitement.

The sequel promises to be an action-packed entertainer, with Nelson Dilipkumar at the helm. Rajinikanth recently confirmed that shooting is progressing well and is expected to wrap up by December. Vijay Sethupathi's involvement is still unconfirmed, despite reports of his shoot in Goa.
