Dharmendra passes away, celebrities condole. Legendary actor Dharmendra passed away today morning at his house in Mumbai. He passed away just a few days before the his 90th birthday on 8 December.

It is known that Dharmendra was admitted at the Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai on 31 October due to illness and during that time rumous about his death surfaced which his family members denied vehemently.

Dharmendra's final rites were performed at his the Pawan Hans crematorium. Celebrities like  Dharmendra's second wife Hema Malini, co-stars Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, and other actors including Sanjay Dutt and Aamir Khan, attended the cremation of the actor amid heavy security.

Dharmendra's iconic performances include  the iconic role of Veeru in the cult classic Sholay, as well as memorable performances in Phool Aur Patthar, Seeta Aur Geeta, Chupke Chupke, Dharam Veer, and Pratigya.

Celebrities condoled the demise of the legend

President Murmu said, “The demise of veteran actor and former Member of Parliament Shri Dharmendra Ji is a great loss to Indian cinema. One of the most popular actors, he delivered numerous memorable performances during his decades-long illustrious career.”
