12A Railway Colony Review (2025): What's Behind

Allari Naresh is getting ready to thrill viewers with a horror entertainer 12A Railway Colony. Interest levels are increasing as the story is provided by Dr.Anil Vishwanath of Polimera fame. 12A Railway Colony's OTT rights have been bagged by Amazon Prime. Let findout whether Naresh managed to scare movie lovers or not.

12A Railway Colony Review (2025): Story Review

12A Railway Colony story revolves around the happenings in the lives of a youngster when he comes across a beautiful girl as his neighbour. Karthik (Allari Naresh) happens to meet a beautiful girl, Aradhana (Kamakshi Bhaskarla), who happens to be his neighbour. He gets smitten by her, and as the days progress, he comes to know shocking secrets about her.

What are those secrets and what role Karthik's friends (Getup Srinu, Viva Harsha), politician Tillu (Jeevan Kumar), and investigation officer Rana Pratap (Sai Kumar) head CCB, Jayadev Shinde (Anish Kuruvilla), his wife Shalini (Abhirami) and others play form the twists and turns.

12A Railway Colony Review (2025): Artists Review

Allari Naresh surprises all with his performance. He showed variations first as a person who takes life easily and enjoys accordingly and then elevated the scenes with his expressions and emotions as a true lover who misses his loved one. But for all his efforts it seems he passed through the motions.

Kamakshi Bhaskarla played the role to perfection. She performed in a silent way and came up with subtle expressions.

Harsha Chemudu and Get Up Srinu did justice to the roles as friends while Sai Kumar made his presence felt in the role of a police officer. Jeevan Kumar is ok in the role of the politician and Anish Kuruvilla played a key role. Abhirami is fine in her role.

12A Railway Colony Review: Technicians Review

12A Railway Colony story, screenplay and dialogues are provided by Dr.Anil Vishwanath of Polimera fame. Nani Kasaragadda just handled the direction. They tried to thrill viewers with a horror thriller but right from the start one is left to wonder where the film is heading. Only during the interval twist curiosity increases but those who watch the horror flicks, they can predict them easily.

The second half starts in a surprising manner with investigation scenes. The blackmagic scenes, murders and the other elements looked disjoint and completely out of sync and all of them looked illogical and amateurish. Anil Vishwanath might have got carried away with the success of Polimera and Polimera 2 and just by having couple of twists, he indulding in reverse writing which impacted the film in a  bad manner. The climax turns out to be ok but everything goes for a toss.

Kushendar Ramesh Reddy, with his Cinematography showed the scenes and visuals in a captivating manner. The colour combinations and camera angles are used to good effect.

The songs tuned by Bheems Ceciroleo are foot-tapping and youthful but they didn't add value to the narration. His background score is in sync with the story.

Nani Kasaragadda's ending is below average and follows a similar pattern. Dialogues at times are interesting and production values are good.

12A Railway Colony Review: Advantages

  • Allari Naresh

12A Railway Colony Review: Disadvantages

  • Story, Screenplay
  • Low Technical Values
  • Missing Logics

12A Railway Colony Review (2025): Rating Analysis

Altogether, 12A Railway Colony turns out to be an atrocious horror thriller. Allari Naresh did his best but when all other departments failed collectively, even he couldn't save it. The film has no horror elements or thrill factor. Nani Kasaragadda became the scapegoat to the story, screenplay provided by Anil Vishwanath of Polimera fame. He tried to mix scenes from various films and this move backfired within notime. The film lacked everything and the makers should have thought twice before proceeding ahead with the project. Considering all these aspects Cinejosh goes with a 1.75 rating for 12A Railway Colony.
