After a promising debut with Bubblegum, young hero Roshan Kanakala returns with his second venture Mowgli 2025, directed by National Award‑winning filmmaker Sandeep Raj, known for Colour Photo. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory, the film is a romantic action drama set against a lush forest backdrop. The first glimpse and single have already generated massive buzz, and now Young Tiger NTR has unveiled the film’s teaser, amplifying excitement further.
Mowgli follows a happy go lucky youth who believes in peace over conflict until he meets a charming girl, sparking a love story reminiscent of Rama and Sita. Their bliss is shattered by a ruthless police officer, portrayed as a modern Ravana, turning their paradise into a battlefield of love and survival. Sandeep Raj has crafted the teaser to echo a contemporary Ramayana, blending mythic undertones with modern emotions.
Roshan Kanakala adopts a striking new avatar after extensive training, delivering a powerful, mature performance with emotional depth and Uttarandhra slang. Sakkshi Mhadolkar shines as his love interest, a hearing and speech impaired woman, bringing enchanting sensitivity. Bandi Saroj Kumar steps into a ferocious villain role, while Viva Harsha plays Roshan’s cool confidant. Cinematographer Rama Maruti M captures breathtaking forest visuals, and Kaala Bhairava’s soulful score adds a divine touch.
