Dulquer Salmaan shares his thoughts on script selection. Dulquer Salmaan is starring in the film Kaantha which is releasing on 14 November 2025.

Speaking to scribes, he shared his thoughts on script selection. Dulquer Salmaan said “It is good only when they work out, not when they don’t. If my movies become hits, my script selection is great. And when one film of mine flops, they say, he doesn’t even know how to read and select a script. I hear them say they want to teach me. But now, it’s hopefully okay. My effort is always to make good films.” when reminded of the flop of his film King of Kotha.

During that time, he said “I needed a short break. It’s nobody’s fault; some films fell through. I also faced health issues.”  Kaantha stars Samuthirakani, Bhagyashri Borse, Rana Daggubati, and Ravindra Vijay in important roles under the direction Selvamani Selvaraj.

Apart from this, Dulquer Salmaan is also starring in the film Aakasamlo Oka Tara.
