All set for Mummy Sequel

Mummy Sequel on cards. Movie lovers cannot forget The Mummy and the subsequent franchises which turned out to be super hits. Now reports are coming that another Mummy sequel is on cards.

Rumours have it that Universal Studios is planning a sequel and it once again unites Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz  and intense discussions are underway.

The producer of the triology Sean Daniel will be producing the film along with William Sherak, James Vanderbilt, and Paul Neinstein from Project X Entertainment. The script will be readied by screenwriter David Coggeshall.

Fraser is currently busy with the projects comedic drama 'Rental Family'. Rachel Weisz, who has appeared in Amazon Prime Video’s 'Dead Ringers' and Marvel’s 'Black Widow', is also represented by CAA, Linde, and the UK.’s Independent Talent Group.

Radio Silence, composed of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, is attached to direct. The sequel will be the continuation and not just the reboot of the old films.
