Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai locks new date

Varun Dhawan is starring in an entertainer titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The film is directed by David Dhawan and it features Varun Dhawan romancing Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde as the female leads.

According to the latest the makers locked the new release date. Announcing the release date, the makers of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai wrote on Instagram, “Drama bhi hona hai, comedy bhi - kyunki jab ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ in cinemas on 5th June 2026.”

The film was earlier supposed to release in April 2026 but the makers changed the date.  Varun and Pooja featured in a hilarious video. He was playfully teasing his 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai' co-star in the fun behind-the-scenes clip. The clip opened with Pooja putting something in her eyes and claiming, "Varun is making me cry". When he asked the makeup artist what techniques they were using, Pooja shared, "It's a secret. We can't tell you.”

The film also features Mouni Roy, Maniesh Paul and Kubbra Sait in important roles.
