Sequel to Hard Hitting Political Drama on cards

Movie lovers cannot forget the powerful hardhitting political drama Republic. The film starred Supreme Hero Sai Tej in the lead role and is helmed by Deva Katta. The film might not have performed well at the box office due to various reasons but it got good response once it started streaming on the OTT platform.

Now, reports are coming that plans are on for the sequel to the film. Sai Tej speaking to scribes revealed that sequel to Republic is underway and work is going on.

He said he is keen to star in the sequel to Republic and said Deva Katta is already working on it. He said the idea he narrated for the sequel is exciting and he expressed hope that it will work out at the box office.

He added that he asked Deva Katta just to keep writing and implement his ideas rather than think of Republic sequel. On the professional front, Sai Tej is starring in Sambarala Yeti Gattu under the direction of newcomer P.Rohith.
