According to the latest, it is coming out that Ilayaraja's studio located in T.Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu got a bomb threat. The DGP office got an email about bomb threats targeting various celebrities.
Following this, Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), rushed to the location and conducted an extensive search operation. After a thorough inspection, officials confirmed that the threat was a hoax.
Cops also conducted searches at the premises of Naam Tamilar Katchi coordinator Seeman and seven other places including the residence of Leader of Opposition Edappadi K. Palaniswami at Greenways Road in the city.
Police and the Cyber Crime Cell are now investigating the threat and trying to findout the source from where the email came from. The email threat also targeted Chief Minister MK Stalin, Governor RN Ravi, Naam Tamilar Katchi coordinator Seeman, and Leader of the Opposition Edappadi K Palaniswami, as well as the Raj Bhavan in Guindy and the Bharatiya Janata Party office in T Nagar and others.
