Talented Beauty walks out of Yellamma. Venu Yeldandi's upcoming project Yellamma has been the cynosure of all eyes ever since its announcement. Expectations increased as Venu Yeldandi on debut created a sensation with Balagam.

The makers planned to rope in award winning actress Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. Now inside talk is Keerthy opted out of the project. The producer shares “It came as a surprise because Keerthy has always chosen offbeat, performance-oriented roles,”

He adds “Despite its authenticity and strong female lead, Keerthy wasn’t interested,” Keerthy  Suresh preferred Vijay Devarakonda-Ravi Kiran Kola's commercial entertainer to Yellamma. The source adds “This marks their first collaboration as an on-screen pair, though they previously appeared together in Mahanati — but not as lovers, since their characters existed in different timelines in Savitri’s biopic.”

Keerthy won national award for her performance in Mahanati and made an impact with her performances in films like Nani (Nenu Local, Dasara), Ram Pothineni (Nenu Sailaja), and Mahesh Babu (Sarkaru Vaari Paata).
