Sayaji Shinde praises Rajinikanth. Sayaji Shinde created a niche for himself doing different genre roles across various languages. Sayaji Shinde who starred in Rajinikanth's Baba, went on record that South Stars are well mannered compared to Bollywood.

He said stars like, Chiranjeevi, and Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Nagarjuna are admired not just for their talent, but also for their respectful behaviour.

He revealed "While I was sitting under a tree on set, Rajinikanth noticed me and politely asked why I was sitting outside. When I replied that I preferred the shade of the tree, Rajinikanth insisted me come inside and even shared food with him."

He added "Later, when someone brought pomegranate juice meant for Rajinikanth, the superstar asked them to serve it to me first"

Sayaji Shinde was last seen in an important role in Dhanush's Kuberaa directed by Sekhar Kammula. The film also featured Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in important roles.
