Mirai To Stream On Jio Hotstar From This Date

The fantasy action adventure film Mirai, starring Teja Sajja, has turned out to be a massive hit, earning over Rs. 150 crores gross. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, the movie has been a game changer for Telugu cinema, with Manoj Manchu playing the antagonist. The film's success can be attributed to its engaging storyline, high octane action, and grand visuals.

Mirai is now all set to entertain OTT audiences, with Jio Hotstar acquiring the post theatrical streaming rights. The film will be available for streaming from October 10 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. The theatrical window is four weeks, and the Hindi version is expected to arrive after two months of theatrical release. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad of People Media Factory, the movie also stars Rithika Nayak, Jagapathi Babu, Shriya Saran, Jayaram, and Getup Srinu in pivotal roles.

The film's storyline revolves around an orphaned pickpocket who realizes he is destined to protect nine sacred scriptures and must prevent an evil force from conquering them. With its unique blend of mythology and modern superhero storytelling, Mirai promises to be a thrilling ride. The music is composed by Gowra Hari, who also worked on HanuMan.

Mirai's success has been remarkable, with the film becoming Teja Sajja's second 150 crore grosser after Hanuman. In North America, it collected $3 million, making him one of the few Telugu stars to achieve back to back $3M collections overseas. The film will be available to viewers on Jio Hotstar from October 10.
