CBFC deletes over 60% kissing scenes in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kaooor's Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari directed by Shashank Khaitan is releasing on 2 Oct 2025.
The film got U/A certificate from the Censor Board members. Inside talk is the Censor Board asked the makers to do away with the 60% if the kissing scenes before offering the U/A certificate.
The censor body insisted on two key modifications before passing the film. The first was muting the word “guard,” which reportedly features in a sequence where Varun Dhawan’s character tries to pass off a slur as something else.
The second involved trimming lip-lock scenes by about 60%. Additionally, the producers were asked to insert an anti-alcohol disclaimer.
The film also stars Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, Akshay Oberoi, and Abhinav Sharma in important roles.
