Bollywood Superstar Ranbir Kapoor has expressed his desire to direct a film, stating that he's "dying to direct a movie". During a live Instagram session on his clothing brand ARKS' official page, Ranbir shared his future plans with fans. When asked about his directorial debut, he revealed that he's already started working on it, having set up a writer's room to develop two ideas he's passionate about.

Ranbir's journey in the film industry began under the mentorship of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, whom he credits for planting the seeds of his craft. He worked as an assistant to Bhansali on the film "Black" and later made his acting debut in Bhansali's 2007 romance drama "Saawariya". Ranbir has now reunited with Bhansali for his upcoming film "Love and War", which also stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.

Ranbir's upcoming projects include "Love and War", directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and "Animal Park", directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, which is set to begin filming in 2027. He also stars in "Ramayana Part 1", directed by Nitesh Tiwari, where he'll play the role of Lord Rama alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. Ranbir's collaborations with talented directors and actors showcase his versatility as an actor and his commitment to exploring new creative avenues.
