New title doing rounds for Puri Jagannath-Vijay Sethupathi project. Dashing director Puri Jagannath and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi are coming up with an interesting and exciting project. The film is progressing at a brisk pace and it is known that the makers will be revealed tomorrow.

Till sometime back rumours spread that the film would be titled Beggar. But Vijay Sethupathi made it clear that Beggar was not the film's title. In the meantime, now inside talk is Puri Jagannath is planning to name the film as Slumdog.

Reports have it that Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in the role of a beggar and so the makers also considered names like Bhavathi Bikshamdehi and Malik but finally the makers according to sources zeroed in on to Slumdog.

Tabu ,Samyuktha and Duniya Vijay are playing an important role in the film which is produced on Puri Connects banner. The film is made on pan India level and will be releasing in various languages like Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi respectively.
