Rishabh Shetty opts for profit sharing for Kantara Chapter1. Kantara Chapter 1 is set for a spectacular release on 2 October 2025. The film is carrying huge expectations as the film is the prequel to the hit film Kantara.

In the meantime, it is coming out that Rishabh Shetty to reduce the production costs decided to opt for profit sharing module. A source shares “Rishabh Shetty worked hard on his physique and spent time crafting the script with detailing. The film’s making cost alone is estimated at Rs 36 crore, nearly three times that of the original. To ease the financial burden, the key actors opted for a share in profits,”

The source adds “Rishabh Shetty has taken the right call by not burdening producers. Instead, he invested himself as actor and director, and will reap his rightful share of the profits,”

The film stars Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead while Jayaram, Gulshan Devaiah are playing important roles.
