High Court stays OG ticket rates hike by Telangana government

The makers of Power Star Pawan Kalyan's OG are over the moon having got the permission from the two Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for the hike in ticket rates for more than a week and also special and benefit shows.

In the midst of all this, the makers of OG got a huge shock in Telangana when the High Court suspended the Telangana government order permitting the hike. The Telangana government in its order allowed hike in ticket rates for OG around  Rs. 800 for premieres and Rs. 277 (single screens), and Rs. 445 (in multiplexes) for regular shows.

After hearing the petition filed by Mahesh Yadav, Justice N.V. Shravan Kumar’suspended the order and posted the hearing on 9 Octobher.

This will surely impact the first day collections of the movie. The film stars Priyanka Arul Mohan and Emraan Hashmi in important roles under the direction of Sujeeth.
