Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya visit Nampally Court

It is known that Telangana Minister Konda Surekha made objectionable commnents on Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya along with Samantha and following this Nagarjuna filed a defamation case.

Today, Nagarjuna and his son Naga Chaitanya appeared infront of the Nampally Court to record their statements. Speaking to scribes, Nagarjuna said he came regarding the defamation case he filed against Minister Konda Surekha.

He said the hearing is underway regarding the case. Earlier Surekha's remarks sparked controversy when she accused BRS leader KTR of being involved in drug-related activities and linked him to the divorce of Chaitanya and Samantha. She also made derogatory statements about the Akkineni family and alleged that many female actors in the Telugu film industry had their careers cut short due to KTR's involvement.

Nagarjuna filed a Rs 100crs defamation case on Surekha with the court. The court also revealed that it accepted the criminal case filed by Nagarjuna against Surekha.
