After more than two decades, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma and actor Manoj Bajpayee have joined hands again for a horror comedy titled "Police Station Mein Bhoot." The project marks a reunion of the duo after their critically acclaimed film "Kaun" in 1999. Manoj Bajpayee shot to fame after his collaboration with Ram Gopal Varma for "Sathya" in 1998.

Rgv expressed his excitement about working with Manoj again, stating that fear becomes most frightening when it challenges the highest authority of safety, and a police station is the ultimate symbol of power. Along with Manoj Bajpayee, the film will also star actress Genelia Deshmukh.

Rgv believes that with Manoj's intensity and Genelia's vulnerability, the story will push boundaries of how we perceive horror in the guise of authority. The film has already completed its first schedule, setting the stage for a gripping journey that blends fear, irony, and Rgv's signature storytelling.

"Satya" was a groundbreaking film that laid the foundation for gangster films in Bollywood. The film's realistic depiction of the Indian underworld and Manoj Bajpayee's performance were widely praised. Over the years, "Satya" has been regarded as a cult film and is considered one of the greatest films ever in Indian cinema.
