Kalki 2898 AD sequel to roll at this time. Prabhas-Nag Ashwin's sci fi entertainer Kalki 2898 AD got good response when it released in June 2024.

Following this, movie lovers have been waiting eagerly for the film's sequel. With Prabhas busy with other projects like Fauji, The Raja Saab and Spirit, the project started getting delayed.

Now, Nag Ashwin, shared an interesting update on Kalki 2898 AD sequel. He shared as to when the sequel will go to sets. He said currently everyone is busy and he is not aware when it will start as actors should be free for the shoot and also VFX and pre visualised scenes and action blocks are more than the first part.

He added that in all probability, the sequel will go to sets by 2025 end. Kalki 2898 AD starred Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan in important roles.
