Chiranjeevi Thanks Revanth Reddy for Resolving Industry Issue

Megastar Chiranjeevi has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his instrumental role in resolving the complex wage hike issue in the Telugu film industry. In a recent post on his X timeline, Chiranjeevi thanked the Chief Minister for his efforts in bringing the issue to a harmonious resolution, ensuring justice for both producers and workers.

Industry Unity and Government Support

The senior Telugu actor praised the Chief Minister's measures to develop the Telugu film industry, saying that they were commendable and truly praiseworthy. Chiranjeevi expressed his hope that the industry would continue to move forward in a united fashion, with the government's support. The wage hike issue had led to a strike by the Telugu Film Industry Employees' Federation, which was called off after a solution was arrived at through negotiations between the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce and the employees' federation.

The strike, which was called on August 4, had brought film productions and related activities to a grinding halt. However, after a joint press conference with representatives of both parties, the decision was made to call off the strike. The Telangana State Film Development Corporation (TFDC) chairman Dil Raju and Additional Labour Commissioner Gangadhar Eslavath were present during the negotiations.
