Finally Tollywood strike ends. In a major breather, bringing sigh of relief to all the filmmakers, the ongoing strike by the Film Federation Employees ended. It is known that the workers have been demanding increase in wages, timely payments and also working hours during Sundays etc and with the deadlock continuing, they called for the stalling of shootings.

This disrupted the shootings of all the films for more than 18 days. Finally with the intervention of Telangana CM Revanth Reddy after the Labour Commissioner's meeting with the Producers and Employees, the Film Federation Employees decided to resume shootings.

As per the resolution both parties reached an agreement following which workers will  be receiving 22.5% wage hike depending on the difference in wage structure and pay structure. This will be implemented in three phases, 15%,2.5% and 5% in the next three years.

Principal Secretary will form a committee which will submit the report in one month's time. Producer Dil Raju and, Employees’ Federation President Anil Vallabhaneni  thanked the departments concerned, government and the labour commissioner for the resolution of the problem.
