Paradha Early premieres - confidence or overconfidence

Small films are facing tough time near box-office. Major part of movie lovers is not showing interest in watching small films on silver screen instead it gets positive word-of-mouth and reviews. Films with merely average word-of-mouth and reviews are being swiftly dismissed. However some films which got positive response is minting gold for producers.

Anupama Parameswaran’s upcoming entertainer Paradha is now facing the same pace. The film unit is said to be extremely confident about the film and are also promoting Paradha vigorously. Reflecting their confidence in the film’s content makers are planning to hold early premiere shows for Paradha two days before its release. The strategy underscores their belief on the film content.

Makers are planning to generate positive buzz and drive audiences to theatres via word-of-mouth a high-stakes yet inspiring move. Early audiences can fuel positive reviews, influencing others to buy tickets on opening day. However on other side of the coin if the film fails to generate positive response it may crash near box-office on day one itself.

On the other hand the film is slated for a spectacular release on 22 Aug 2025 and is slated for grand release in Telugu and Malayalam simultaneously.
