War 2 Second Day Worldwide Boxoffice Collections

Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR 's high-octane spy thriller War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji, has leveraged the Independence Day holiday to post an impressive ₹56.50 crore (India net) on its second day across all languages pushing its total domestic earnings to Rs 108 crore in just two days.

War 2 had a Strong Day 2 Performance. Despite opening to mixed reviews, War 2 has shown remarkable growth on Day 2. The significant boost in collections is attributed to Holiday Advantage (Independence Day).

Improved occupancies in major metropolitan areas and Strong word of mouth among audiences, despite critical feedback, have also helped in significant growth in collections.

The Hindi Version Registered a healthy surge, benefiting from Hrithik Roshan’s fan base and urban traction.

However, the Telugu Version witnessed an unexpected dip; maybe heavy rains have also been one of the reasons.

What to Expect Next

Trade experts anticipate a significant weekend jump (Saturday and Sunday), which could solidify the film's standing in the YRF Spy Universe if positive momentum continues.

Expanding the Spyverse

War 2  is a key instalment in YRF’s Spy Universe, following the likes of War (2019), Pathaan, and Tiger 3. The post-credits scene introduces Bobby Deol, teasing the next chapter titled Alpha, which will feature Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in lead roles.
