What forced Chiraneevi to issue clarification regarding Producers Council vs Film Federation dispute. Producers Council and Film Federation Employees are fighting over the hike in wages and timely payment on dialy basis and the matter precipitated with Employees giving a call to shut down shootings.

Mega Star Chiranjeevi's name did rounds as the trouble shooter but Chiranjeevi surprised all by issuing a clarification that he is no way involved in it. Now, this is making people wonder what forced Chiranjeevi to come up with the clarification. A source says court notices escalated the issue and Chiranjeevi decided to stay out of the issue.

Producer T. G. Vishwa Prasad has issued court notices to the Federation’s president, general secretary, and treasurer, intensifying the standoff. Ammiraju, general secretary of the Federation said “Our three office bearers have received court notices, and our legal team will handle the matter. This is the first time someone has issued notices to us,”

He said the strike resulted in losses amounting to Rs 1.5crs per day to TG.Vishwa Prasad's films and the shoots got halted. Ammiraju said “Our members are upset over legal action against individuals rather than the Federation itself. Talks were already underway with producers on our demands,”

Former general secretary Rajeshwar Reddy stressed that the legal move was from an individual, not the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce. He said “That will not deter our resolve. We have given a strike notice to the Chamber and held meetings with the coordination committee. While some issues have been settled, others remain. The core demand is a 30% wage hike for skilled and unskilled workers, which led us to halt work.”
