Creative differences in War 2 between Hrithik and Mukherjee. War 2 starring NTR, Hrithik Roshan is racing for a grand release on 14 Aug 2025.

The makers are promoting the film and excitement is increasing across the country as it is the sequel to the hit film War. The film is directed by Ayan Mukherjee of Brahmastra fame.

Now shocking rumours are spreading that Hrithik Roshan and Ayan Mukherjee had creative differences. The makers first locked the runtime at 3 hours 10 minutes and as Hrithik felt it too lengthy, Ayan decided to trim it by 7 minutes.

But Hrithik who was unhappy even after the CBFC approval, decided to trim another ten minutes on his own. Thus the film's runtime came to 2hours 53 minutes and this left Ayan extremely disappointed as he felt that the essence got diluted.

Rumours also have it that Hrithik directed few scenes and also controlled the camera angles etc and this left the other technical crew confused who left wondering who was controlling the project.
