Dhanush, Aanand L Rai considers legal action against Raanjhanaa AI version. Dhanush's Bollywood debut film Raanjhanaa under the direction of Aanand L Rai captured the imagination of all.

The film starred Sonam Kapoor in the lead. The film created a sensation in 2013. People got excited when the film was re released recently. But much to the shock of all, the climax was changed using AI.

This disappointed all the movie lovers and even Dhanush expressed his disappointment. Aanand L Rai said changing the climax is "a very dangerous precedent,"  and added "I am very worried about my other films. So is Dhanush. We are actively looking at judicial remedies to restore and preserve our creative content from such extraneous interventions (sic),”

He added  "The past three weeks have been surreal, and deeply upsetting. To watch Raanjhanaa, a film born out of care, conflict, collaboration, and creative risk, be altered, repackaged, and re-released without my knowledge or consent has been nothing short of devastating. What makes it worse is the complete ease and casualness with which it's been done (sic),”

He posted  "The re-release of Raanjhanaa with an AI-altered climax has completely disturbed me. This alternate ending has stripped the film of its very soul, and the concerned parties went ahead with it despite my clear objection."

Dhanush earlier said The caption of his post read, "For the love of cinema".

"The re-release of Raanjhanaa with an AI-altered climax has completely disturbed me.

"This alternate ending has stripped the film of its very soul, and the concerned parties went ahead with it despite my clear objection. This is not the film I committed to 12 years ago."
