Producers strong action against striking workers. It is known that Film Industry Employees Federation decided to stall the shootings as their demands of increase in 30% hike in wages was not met by the Producers.

They went on to protest against those filmmakers who continued shooting bringing in workers from other regions. However they did not find any support as the Producers Council toughened their stand against them.

According to the latest, the Producers now decided to take strict action against the striking workers. They decided to exempt those staying away from the shootings in support of the strike but act against those who are threatening Producers and those attending the shootings by not employing them in future.

Now it has to be seen how the issue will be resolved in the coming days as for long the employees have been ddemanding hike in wages and timely payment of wages on dialy basis.
