Tollywood Film Federation stalls shooting from tomorrow

In a sensational development, Tollywood Film Federation decided to halt shootings from tomorrow. It is known that for long intense discussions have been going on between producers and Film Industry Employees Federation regarding hike in wages for those in the 24 crafts.

However with no decision reached regarding the hike in wages, the Federation after holding a crucial meeting couple of hours back decided to take the drastic step.

It decided to halt shootings of all the films starting from 4 Aug 2025. The Federation has been demanding 30% hike for the technicians and made it clear that shootings of those production houses who give in writing complying with the increased wages will be allowed and other shootings will be halted with immediate effect. They demanded that wages should be paid on dialy basis without any delay.

It has to be seen how the industry will resolve this current problem.
