The film, which was released in theaters on July 4, 2025, didn't perform well at the box office despite its big budget and familiar faces. The movie stars Nithiin, Sapthami Gowda, and Varsha Bollama in key roles.

The film's early streaming release on Netflix is due to a massive deal offered by the platform. Producer Dil Raju accepted the lucrative offer, leading to the film's early streaming release for a record price. Despite its poor box office performance, 'Thammudu' might still find an audience on Netflix. The film's streaming release allows viewers who missed it in theaters to catch it online.

'Thammudu' is now available for streaming on Netflix in Hindi and all major South Indian languages. The film's director is Sreeram Venu, and it was produced by Dil Raju on a massive budget of just over ₹60 crore. Nithiin has already moved on to his new film 'Yellamma', being directed by Venu Yeldandi.

The early release of 'Thammudu' on Netflix might help the film reach a new audience.
