Payal Rajput's father Vimal Kumar Rajput (68), passed away due to health complications in Hyderabad on 28 July 2025. The final rites will be held on 30 July 2025 in Delhi in the presence of family members.

Payal Rajput who shares a close bonding with her father, expressed her emotions with the following post.

 “Though you're no longer by my side, your love still guides me every day. I miss your smile, your voice, your presence. You may be gone from this world, but never from my heart. Love you papa.”
