Bomb threat at Vijay house. Even as Thalapathy Vijay is concentrating on strengthening his party TVK in the run-up to the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, his fans got a huge shock when bomb threat came to Vijay's house.
On Sunday, police got an anonymous call about a bomb at Vijay's house Neelankarai on Chennai's East Coast Road. Following that the cops cordoned off the area and conducted an extensive search only to find out that it was a hoax call.
Neelankarai Police in a statement said "The call was made at around 5:20 a.m. to the Chennai Police Control Room, claiming that a bomb had been planted at the actor-politician's house. Upon receiving the threat, three bomb squad experts and a sniffer dog were immediately dispatched to Vijay's residence."
They continued "After nearly an hour of inspection, the bomb squad confirmed that no explosives were found at the site. The officials declared it a hoax and left the premises after completing their inspection."
