But now inside talk is Amitabh Bachchan will be giving voice over to the film's narration. Apart from it, another report has that Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in dual role. A source shares “In the Ramayana, Parashuram had a conflict with Ram after Shiva’s bow, Pinaka, was broken. He challenges Ram to bend Vishnu’s bow, and upon witnessing Ram succeed, he acknowledges Ram as an incarnation of Vishnu and retreats to his penance. Although Parashuram's role in the epic is brief, it holds significant importance, and the filmmakers have ensured it reflects that. Ranbir will have a completely distinct and unrecognisable look as Parashuram.”
The film stars Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Ravi Dubey as Laxman, Arun Govil as Raja Dasharatha, Indira Krishnan as Rani Kaushalya, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Anil Kapoor as Raja Janak, Amitabh Bachchan as Jatayu, Adinath Kothare as Bharat, Sheeba Chaddha as Manthra, Bobby Deol as Kumbhakaran, Vijay Setupati as Vibhishan, Vikrant Massey as Meghnath, Rakul Preet as Shurpaanakha, Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari, Mohit Raina as Lord Shiva, Kunal Kapoor as Lord Indra and Vivek Oberoi as Vidyutjiva.
