Thammudu postponed and might release on July 25

Young hero Nithiin who has tasted bitter experience with his recent film Robinhood is pinning all his hopes on his upcoming entertainer Thammudu. With most of his recent projects failing to make an impact near box office the success of Thammudu is crucial for his future projects and endeavours.

Thammudu was scheduled to hit screens on July 4^th 2025. They even released a video confirming the film's release date. But as per industry sources there is some change of plans as Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom landing on the same date makers are planning to postpone the film.

As per the sources Thammudu may hit screens on July 25 and an official announcement is expected to be out soon. Thammudu is directed by Venu Sriram of Vakeel Saab fame and features music by Ajaneesh Loknath. Sapthami Gowda of Kantara fame plays the female lead, while actress Laya plays Nithin's sister in the film.
