Bhool Chuk Maaf Turned Into Box Office Success

"Bhool Chuk Maaf" has crossed Rs 50 crore nett at the domestic box office, the makers announced on Sunday. Produced by Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Films, “Bhool Chuk Maaf” is directed by Karan Sharma. Also starring Wamiqa Gabbi, the film was released in theatres on May 23. The total box office collection of the film stands at Rs 54.12 crore nett as per makers.

“Bhool Chuk Maaf” revolves around a soon-to-be-married man who realises that he is stuck in a time loop and keeps reliving the day before his wedding. The film also stars Seema Pahwa, Sanjay Mishra, and Ishtiyak Khan in pivotal roles. Despite mixed reviews and a slow start, the romantic drama Bhool Chuk Maaf has crossed the ₹50cr mark at the box office. The film earned ₹5.25cr on Saturday, bringing its total collection to an impressive ₹52.60cr in India.

The film's box office performance has been impressive, with high occupancy across major cities. On Saturday, Bhool Chuk Maaf recorded an overall occupancy of 18.02% across 3,025 shows in India. The film had the highest occupancy in Chennai at 65.67% from just 12 shows. Bengaluru witnessed a 25.75% occupancy across 216 shows, while Hyderabad reported a 21.25% occupancy from 129 shows.

Bhool Chuk Maaf is now Rajkummar Rao's 3rd highest grosser, and for Wamiqa Gabbi, it's her highest all-time grosser, surpassing the box office collection of Baby John. The film's success is a testament to the actors' performances and the engaging storyline. With its impressive box office collection, Bhool Chuk Maaf is sure to be remembered as one of the successful films of the year.
