Distributor startling revelations about HIT3. Nani recently came up to entertain movie lovers with HIT3 directed by Sailesh Kolanu. The film grossed over Rs 100crs at the box office as claimed by the makers.

While the makers and the film unit is happy and the industry also branded the film as a hit, a distributor from the East Godavari region, Satyanarayana shared the different picture.

He said though the collections were good for the first four days, from then on the collections fell down and by eight day, the distributors were left with the losses of Rs 50 lakhs. He said the craze for high budget films and pan India release penchant, left them in such situation.

He said as star heroes films are now rarity at the box office, they are reeling under losses. Satyanarayana said as the film did good for the first four days, they got back the rent costs. He said distributors situation is not good at present as though there are 100 films releasing not even ten are becoming a hit.

He added that no one knows when a star hero film will come and said to run a theatre in Kakinada Urban  centre, it costs Rs 5 lakhs along with current, rent, salaries and other expenses. He said earlier there used to be percentage system where everyone exhibitor, buyer and distributor used to be happy.

Later rent system came in which exhibitor was happy. He said now except for the top stars and technicians none of them are happy.
