Vijay Devarakonda talks about slapping Aurangazeb. Vijay Devarakonda participated in the promotions of Suriya's upcoming project Retro directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film is set for release on 1 May 2025.

When asked if he wanted to change time and meet someone in the past, Vijay Devarakonda said “I want to meet the British and give them two tight slaps. I recently watched Chhaava, and it enraged me. I’d probably take the opportunity to give Aurangzeb two to three tight slaps also. I want to meet so many others like that, just to hit them. Right now, it’s all I can think of.”

When Suriya was asked the same question he said he ‘doesn’t miss anyone’, so he ‘doesn’t know’ whom he’d go back in time for.

Suriya's Retro stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead and Jayaram, Joju George, Karunakaran, Nassar, and Prakash Raj in key roles.
