Hollywood Hotties turn Hindu Goddesses

Yesterday we have heard about sexy Shakira to play the goddess Kali in a Indo-Britain film and now one more Hollywood beauty Drew Barrymore is to become 'Ganga Maiyya' (Holy Ganga, the river goddess) in a Bollywood project to be taken up by Santosh Kumar Jain.

Yes, Drew Barrymore has accepted the script and given the green signal to become a part of this 3D project to be made on a whopping budget of Rs.150 Crore. ‘Ganga Maiyya’ will be shot in Haridwar, Europe and North America with title song rendered by Lata Mangeshkar.

‘Shooting will start from November and the film is scheduled to be released by mid 2012. Movie is based on the lifestyle of Gen Next women with respect to the values of the River Ganga. This is a women oriented film and we wanted a strong character for it. It will also include two top Bollywood actresses, the names of which are yet to be finalized,’ said Santosh Jain.
