Nawazuddin Siddiqui to depict Osho on screen. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the acclaimed 49-year-old actor, is set to make his Tollywood debut with a pivotal role in "Saindhav," directed by Sailesh Kolanu, renowned for his work in "HIT." Nawazuddin, known for his versatility and willingness to explore diverse roles, consistently pushes his artistic boundaries. In a candid conversation at the 54th IFFI in Goa, he revealed his immersive approach to acting, expressing a desire to portray the character of spiritual guru Osho if the opportunity arises.

A graduate of the National School of Drama (NSD) hailing from the small town of Budhana in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, Nawazuddin passionately advocates for the significance of local stories in cinema. Emphasizing that the heart and soul of India lie in its villages, he contends that authentic local narratives resonate not only within the country but also globally. Critiquing big-budget films featuring unrealistic larger-than-life characters, he asserts that Indian movies with genuine local stories garner more appreciation both domestically and internationally.

His commitment to continual growth is evident in his refusal to be confined to a specific type of role, as he looks forward to the evolution of his craft and the exploration of uncharted territories in the world of cinema.

Renowned figures like Dame Judi Dench and Paulo Coelho have praised Nawazuddin's acting prowess, solidifying his standing not just in India but on the global stage.
