How much ever creative director Ramgopal Varma may be, but he always moves synonymous with Controversies. May it be his recent projects ‘Raktha Charitra’ or ‘Rann,’ he loves to be in lime light in which ever the complicated and disturbing way possible. Today is one such occasion and Varma has comeback to Tollywood with a big bang and that is ‘Katha Screenplay Direction Appal Raju’ movie launch.

With comedian Sunil as the main lead, Varma is preparing this comedy pack as a rude satire on Tollywood and the directors in this part of industry. As a part of movie launch, Varma made the guests to hear the best song in his movie in the Music Direction of Koti. This song is already creating controversies for its lyrics which is full of satires on all the directors in Tollywood from Raghavendra Rao to Ramgopal Varma himself.

Song goes like, ‘Shiva Cinematho Hittu Chusi, Sholay Cinemani Khatam Chesi Ramgopal Varma Directoraa Karma…’ and it goes on with satires on Gunasekhar smashes his producer with costly settings; Raghavendra Rao as the man of exposing, EVV as a sentiment with ointment and the list goes on with all famous directors.

‘Sunil asked me to delete this song but I forcefully inserted it. More than other directors, this movie will have more satires thrown on my self. This movie will have entire comedy crew from Tollywood,’ said Varma.

Special point to mentions is that, while the song was played, guests like Raghavendra Rao, Gunasekhar were moving with embarrassment on stage while Varma was enjoying the lyric sharing with Nag and Sunil looked inconvenient sitting besides Colors Swathi.

With initial controversy already started to surround Appal Raju, now one can easily expect why is Varma coming back to Tollywood? More of such shocks are to follow. This is just ‘Appal Raju’ for audience but ‘Thippal Raju’ for insiders in the industry.
