Tollywood shrugs off twin shock with new films

The Telugu Film Industry is slowly shrugging off the twin-shocks it had received last week and making efforts to move on from the sensational drugs and sex rackets which rocked Tollywood with filming for two movies began in the city with much fanfare on Friday.

After creating a sensation with ‘Simha’, Nandamuri Balakrishna on Friday participated in his new film shooting at Rama Naidu Studios at 11.45 am.

The new film is directed by Paruchuri Murali of `Andhrudu’ fame and produced by ML Padma Kumar Chowdary. Kalyan Malik will provide music for the film.

Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu, Director Raghavendra Rao and actor Krishnam Raju attended the mahurat programme. However, the rest of the cast and technical crew of this film are not yet decided. Regular shooting of the film will begin from September 1.

At present Balayya is busy in the film shooting of `Param Veera Chakra’ under Dasari Narayana Rao’s direction.

Another film shooting started at Annapurna studio with sensational director Ram Gopal Verma titled as `Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appal Raju’. The producer of the movie Shreya productions headed by Kiran koneru is planning to release the film for Sankranthi.
