Genelia at last do the Jyothika & Asin

Bubbly babe Genelia is jumping in happiness. Why not she is finally playing the female lead in the Hindi remake of ‘Gharshana’ that is Tamil ‘Kakha Kakha.’ Chirpy actress replaced Asin, who was the original choice for the role. Finally this film will now have John Abraham in the lead and Genelia will play his love interest, a character made memorable by Asin in Telugu and Jyothika in Tamil both directed by Gautam Vasudev Menon.

This Hindi remake will be directed by Nishikanth Kamath, a Tamil director. According to sources, John Abraham at the last moment asked producer Vipul Shah to get Asin replaced by pretty Gennie. This would be the first time that Genelia would star opposite John.
