<p>Analysis: The movie starts off with an entertaining first half though there is not much of a story. The movie lacks pace in the second half and do appear prolonged at times. But a purposeful flashback and an entertaining climax makes up for it. The plus points of the film are Ravi Teja, Ileana and comedy. On the flip side, the runtime of the movie is excessive and the sophistication/finesse expected out of such big projects is missing. On a whole, Kick is like a poor man&rsquo;s Dhoom stuffed with ample Ravi Teja kind of comedy.</p>

<p>Story</p>
<p>&nbsp;DD (Sumanth) Chinna (trinetrudu) are orphans who are brought up in an orphanage. They are very fond of Saraswatamma (Sudha) who took care of them. Saraswatamma is very good at preparing tamarind rice (pulihora). DD wants to start a pulihora center on the memory of Saraswatamma when he grows up. He needs 7 lacs for that. In order to earn the money, he joins a mafia gang. Pragati (Kriti Kharbandha) is the daughter of a billionaire politician. She is kind hearted and runs a charity organization. She comes to know that a landlord in a village has bought most of the lands forcibly from the village men. Court asks the farmers to pay 4 crores together to regain their lands. When Pragati realized that her father has gone against her wish of helping those farmers, her friend sketches a self-kidnap plan to demand 4 crores as ransom. And things go wrong when DD and Chinna kidnap her at the same time when she is supposed to be self-kidnapped. The rest of the story is all about how DD and Pragati realise their missions together.</p>
<p>Analysis:-</p>
<p>&nbsp;First half of the film is adequate and second half is bad. Plus points of the movie are director&rsquo;s styling, cinematography and locations. Negative points are screenplay and uninspiring direction. It is always better to fail while making a different film than failing while making a routine formula film. Boni is an attempt to come up with something different.</p>
<p>Let us hope that the debutant producer and the debutant director will dish out more interesting films in the future.</p>

Mallesh (Srinath Maganti) has a wretched past and gets addicted to drinking, and after reuniting with his mother Sankaramma (Padma Nimmanagonti), he enters into wedlock with Jyothi (Gayathri Ramana).</p>
<p>However, his macho posture gets a huge shock and where this leads to and what role his friend Veerraju (Rajkumar Kasireddy), Sudhakar (Muralidhar Goud), his father Bikshapathi (Vishwanath Mandalika), Chinna Patel aka Keshav (Rajhessh), his wife Padma (Sai Kamakshi Bhaskarla) form the interesting part.</p>

<p>Srinath Maganti performed well in the lead role. He showed the pain of carrying his childhood happennings and dealing with them and also showed his mass angle showing his prowess with rustic and rugged look. He entertained with his mass mannerims and expressions and emotions. He with his screen presence made an impact on the screen with his dialogue delivery.</p>
<p>Rajhessh performed well in the role of the antagonist Patel and the scenes featuring him and Srinath stands out. Gayathri Ramana made her debut and she performed well in the role of a innocent young girl who also takes a bold stand while choosing her life partner.</p>
<p>Rajkumar Kasireddy and Muralidhar Goud made their presence felt with their performances. Vishwabath Mandalika is ok in the role of&nbsp; the lead actor's father. Kamakshi Bhaskarla got limited screen presence and in one scene she came up with powerful performance. Others performed according to their roles.</p>

<p>Mension House Mallesh story is penned by Bala Satish. Bala Satish came up with a story in the backdrop of a rustic village atmosphere. The story has no new elements and lacks freshness. It starts in a predictable manner and continues in the same vein right from the start to the finish.</p>
<p>He added mass elements and double-meaning dialogues to appeal to B,C centres. He drew inspiration from the films like Ek Mini Katha and others. He took the core point from such kind of films which viewers were treated with earlier and added mass elements to attract.</p>
<p>Few scenes in the first half may appeal to masses but even they cannot sit through all the drinking scenes at the start. The second half turns out to be a patience tester and pre climax turns out to be little decent before the film comes to a happy ending. The story turned out to be routine and predictable and screenplay turned out to be uni dimensional and convenient. Direction followed the familiar traits.</p>
<p>Suresh Bobbili's background music is according to the story and the narration. The songs are situational and didnot make much impact. Ammamuthu's cinematography highlighted the rustic village atmosphere quite well and in a realistic and natural manner. The editing of Garry.BH is ok but could have been better as there are many repetitive scenes that impacted the flow of the narration. Dialogues are penned to attract the masses. Production values are good.</p>

However their life takes a startling turn when Sriram gets involved in a heated argument with the SI Vikram (Prince Cecil). Where this leads to and what role MLA Thimmappa (Sharat Lohitaswa), police&nbsp; officer Sudheer (Dhanraj), Raghava (Ali) form the rest of the narration.</p>

<p>Sivaji did well in the role of a honest person who goes all out to save his family when faced with a difficult situation. He showed good expressions and emotions and his bod language is natural and realistic.</p>
<p>Laya complimented him well as the housewife. She did a good job and delivered dialogues accordingly. Roshan is ok in the role of their son.After a longtime, Prince Cecil is see in a key role and he is ok with is performance.&nbsp; Dhanraj performed in a typical manner in the role of the police officer and it is tailormade for him. Ali's role failed to evoke laughs.</p>
<p>Others like Jabardasth Emmanuel, Raj Tirandasu, Karan,Sharath Lohithaswa played their roles accordingly.</p>

<p>Sampradayani Suppini Suddapoosani story is written by Sudheer Ram. He tried to come up with a hilarious crime thriller and for that he came up with a tried and tested formula. His story drew inspiration from films like Drushyam and many other films alike.</p>
<p>He tried to blend humor and thrills but failed on both fronts. He starts the narration by introducing the protagonist's family as a different one by adding a hilarious touch. However nothing excites. None of the character arcs appeal to viewers as they just pass through the motions and most of the scenes miss logics and had artificial flavor.</p>
<p>The comedy of Sivaji, Laya and Roshan didnot workout as the scenes lacked the strengh and the role of Prince turned out to be silly. Director Sudheer Ram's story, screenplay and direction turned out to be weak and disappointinng. While the first half has routine elements, the second half fared no better as it had artificial elements and this tested the patience of the viewers. Preclimax and Climax turned out to be even more silly.</p>
<p>Cinematography of Ritwik Reddy is ok and BGM of Ranjin Raj is in sync with the narration. The editing of Balu Manoj failed completely. Production values are ok.</p>

Even on OTT this wouldn't have worked and the makers took a bold decision going for the theatrical release. The makers should have scrutinized the story and script and reworked on the writing before proceeding ahead with the project. <h2>Sree Vishnu's Mrithyunjay: Artists Review</h2>
<p>Sree Vishnu played a completely different&nbsp; role in the film. He slipped into the role effortlessly and did justice to it. He showed good emotions while feeling the pain of a small girl, expressed accordingly when he was not given the crime reporter job and came up with intense expressions while trying to nab the criminal.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Reba Monica John played the role of the ACP.&nbsp; Her role is used just to take the story forward and she didn't get much scope to show her talent. She just passed through the motions.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Veer Aryan played well in the role of the antagonist. He came up with menacing expressions and carried the same through out the film with his body language.</p>

The narration starts in a slow manner and with Sree Vishnu introduced in a different way, people will be wondering what the director is upto.&nbsp;</p>
<p>However once the mysterious deaths start happening screenplay is in place and the narration picks up pace. Following few cat and mouse games between the hero and the villain, the first half ends with interesting but predictable twist. The second half also continues in the similar manner and the film finally comes to an end bringing the much needed relief to the viewers.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The screenplay is even and uni dimensional for majority of the part. Director tried to come with an investigative thriller, but the so called investigation turns out to be farce. Police are shown as puppets and ACP as a dimwit. Even the race between hero and the villain to go after each other donot excite anyone.</p>
<p>People are witness to such scenes since the olden days and those who expected something new will be completely disappointed. Director missed many logics in the narration and most of the scenes looked silly and even school kids will be laughing instead of getting excited.</p>
<p>Vidya Sagar Chinta's cinematography showed the scenes in a realistic manner. He used the lighting to perfection to show the night scenes in an interesting way. He used the colour combinations accordingly to show the variations in scenes.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Kaala Bhairava with his background music elevated the scenes according to the narration. The editing of Sreekar Prasad is decent except for few repetitive scenes here and there. Production values of Light Box Media, Picture Perfect Entertainment are good.&nbsp;</p>

<p>S.Saraswathi story is penned by Varalakshmi Sarathkumar. Varalakshmi planned to touch the contemprary and the burning topic of atroticies on women and how justice is denied to them. She tried to add the medical disorder in order to add surprise element to the proceedings and the investigation process.</p>
<p>Initially at the start, this looked interesting but in her effort to thrill viewers taking them to the new heights, she overdid it and altogether in the end, it turned out to be a laughing stock. Except for the so called medical disorder, everything turned out to be routine and predictable. After the so called surprise elements, viewers can predict everything and this turned out to be the biggest backdrop.</p>
<p>While the story turned out to be routine and monotonous, even the narration and screenplay turned out to be repetitive making it a tedious watch to the viewers. The first half comes to an end with a predictable twist and when one expects a better second half, it turns out to be a disappointment.</p>
<p>With the surprise element coming out, Varalakshmi started beating around the bush and the preachy dialogues in the pre climax and climax didnot inspire any confidence. Finally, S.Saraswathi's good intentions got diluted due to Varalakshmi's over enthusiasm and the flat screenplay and direction.</p>
<p>Thaman's music and songs though situational acted as speedbrakers. His background music is in sync with the story. A.M. Edwin Sakay's cinematograhpy is good and showed the scenes in a realistic and believable manner.</p>
<p>Venkat Raajen's editing left a lot to be desired. There are many scenes that turned out to be repetitive and slowed the pace of the narration.</p>

<p>Son Of story is written by Bathala Satish. He tried to come up with a emotional youthful entertainer highlighting the father son relationship. Though the intention is right, many such films came earlier and the story offered nothing new. The narration starts on a predictable note and from then on the entire first half treads with routine and monotonous elements and few irritating stuff with over the top and silly dialogues from both the father and son. When the first half ends, viewers heave a sigh of relief , expecting a better second half.</p>
<p>The second half continues in the same vein with many illogical scenes. However couple of scenes in the run up to the pre climax and climax adds value and connect chords of some viewers. Finally the film ends in a predictable happy manner. Screenplay looked forced and the direction treaded in an aimless manner.</p>
<p>Amarnath's editing left a lot to be desired. There are many scenes that looked out of sync and unnecessary to the proceedings. However, he couldn't be faulted as the story itself turned out to be weak. VRK Naidu's cinematography is as per the story and did justice to the scenes. The music is tuned by Rishi is turns out to be average. Songs at times acted a speedbrakers. The background score is ok. Dialogues are artificial and so too are most of the scenes. Production values are just average.</p>

While in the first half, he generated little humour, he managed to double it in the second half.</p>
<p>Maruthi Rao, as he decided to entertain, roped in top comedians and emerged successful to an extent. But most of the time, he tried to highlight Sree Vishnu and underutilised other top comedians. He generated fun with Sree Vishnu and Satya but the same cannot be said about other actors.</p>

But in the second half, he loses the plot and he turned routine and monotonous with his comedy scenes and these turned repetitive. Everything fell flat and the climax was rushed and predictable.</p>

He showed love towards his daughter, care and fear for her safety and also the pain when she goes missing.&nbsp;</p>

<p>D/O Prasad Rao story is penned by Poluri Krishna. He tried to thrill viewers with a story that has few surprises. However, he ended up coming with a simple story that turned out to be stale. He started the narration in an interesting manner and this increases the curiosity among viewers in the first few episodes. But from then on, everything turns routine and predictable as in their quest to come up with more twists and turns, they instead turned everything silly.</p>
<p>In his quest to come up with more twists, Poluri Krishna failed to come up with strong characters. This inturn impacted his writing leaving a void and the screenplay goes awry though it looks interesting from outside. With the passage of time, the characters turn preachy with the director unable to fathom how to take the story forward and bring it to a logical conclusion.</p>
<p>The cop is introduced as a tough person and has unique investigation techniques but the investigation scenes offer nothing new. They cop is just turned out to be a mere caricature taking orders from the higherups. Finally when the final episodes end, viewers heave a sigh of relief.</p>
<p>The editing of GV. Chandra Sekhar looks unpolished. There are many repetitive scenes that slowed the pace of the narration. He tried to be smart to turn it decent but overall came up with a haphazard output. Sriram gave the background score for the plot. Sriram in his quest to elevate the scenes, came up with a loud score instead of adding finess to the narration. This inturn turned everything into over the top when it is not required. The cinematography of K.Mahesh Kumar is in sync with the story. He didnot try anything extraordinary and did what was required for the story sticking to the basics. <p>He tried to highlight the purity in love in the older genderation compared to that of immoral values of gen z relationships but sperations and parting of ways have been prevalent in the society since longtime. The screenplay is linear and treads in a predictable fashion and in the end however failed to justify the reunison of the leadpair.</p>
<p>The film lacked the emotions and everything turns artificial as the director stayed away from the ground reality. He spent the entire first half on how the lead pair deal with the breakup and here he tried to impresses Gen Z with jargons like binge watching, stress shopping and stress eating. But he failed to live in the reality. Both the lead pair characters turned out to be artificial bereft of any emotions. Much to the disappointment of all, the so called interval bang fell flat.</p>
<p>He passed most of the time and the second half with flashbacks. Instead of increasing the interest levels, these turned out to be patient testers. Ganesh Chandra's writing turned out to be lazy and he thought it was casual and interesting. Sadly, he failed to understand the meaning and thought process of Gen Z and he confined himself to use it as jargons.</p>
<p>The music for the film is tuned by Vijay Antony. Though songs didnot make much impact, he added value to the narration with his background music. Ganesh Chandra himself handled the cinematography and he captured the visuals in an appealing and beautiful manner. <p>Suhas asusual did justice to his role. The role is tailormade for him and it has the blend of romance, youthful exuberance, humour and emotions associated with it. <p>Mahi Reddy Pandugula's cinematography is in sync with the story. He showed the scenes in a natural and at the same time colorful as and when required. Viplav Nyshadham's editing is ok but could have been better as there are few repetitive elements that dragged the pace of the narration. The music of Vivek Sagar is ok. The songs looked forced and one could have done away with them as they didnot add much value to the proceedings. His background score is as per the story. It is known that Arjun launched the film with Vishwak Sen in the lead and Pawann Kalyan graced the launch as a special guest. However, Vishwak Sen opted out of the project and Arjun roped in Sandalwood star Upendra's nephew Niranjan in the lead role. Coincidentally both Vishwak Sen's Funky and Arjun's Seetha Payanam released on the same date.</p>
<p>Seetha Payanam story is nothing new but Arjun tried to highlight the love, marriage, family bonding and other relationships that play key role. To the top of it, he also touched upon the cow protection. For all his efforts he became preachy most of the times. He starts the narration in a routine and simple manner before the road trip which increases curiosity levels. The developments later makes viewers to sit up and watch.</p>
<p>But from the moment heroine decides to thank everyone, the pace dips down considerably and the routine and preachy scenes ends up testing the patience of the viewers. Here Arjun deviated from the main topic and went on to touch topics like cow protection etc. Only during the climax, once again the family emotions connect chords with the viewers.</p>
<p>Anup Rubens came up with foot tapping and melodious tunes. The songs are situational and shot in colourful backdrop. <p>Siva Kantamaneni performed well in the role of the police officer. He added power to the narration with his intense performance. He made his presence felt in action sequence and showed variations in his mannerisms and expressions, body language and dialogue delivery.</p>
<p>Ester surprises all with her performance in the negative shades. Dhanya Balakrishna and Supritha did justice to their roles. Others like Gemini Suresh, Bhadram and Ashok Kumar did justice to their roles.</p>
<h2>Amaravathiki Aahwanam (2026) Technicians Review</h2>
<p>Amaravathiki Aahwanam story is penned by GVK. He came up with horror entertainer in the backdrop of family emotions and revenge drama. The horror elements in Amaravathi made an impact on the big screen and few twists generate curiosity among viewers.</p>
<p>Pre interval and the climax sequences stand out. But there are many scenes that turned repetitive and predictable dampening the spirits. Some scenes are predictable and the slow narration in the first half impacted the film. Supporting actors are not utilised to the fullest.</p>
<p>The cinematography of Prabhakar Reddy added value increasing the horror and thrill feel with the camera angles. Padmabhan Bharadwaj with his background score elevated the scenes. Sai Babu Talari's editing is ok but could have been better. Production values are decent.</p>

<p>Altogether, Amaravathiki Aahwanam is a decent horror thriller. GVK got the optimum from the actors and came up with good horror and thrilling elements in the story especially in the pre interval block and the climax. He came up with a good story and decent screenplay. However slow pace in the narration, predictable elements impacted the end result. Considering all these aspects, <strong>Cinejosh goes with a 2.25 rating for Amaravathiki Aahwanam.</strong></p>

<p><br />Sushant (Sushant) joins a college in Hyderabad and finds his classmate Sneha (Sneha Ullal) to be enchanting. He falls for her and makers her fall in love with him. Sneha is a proper girl with good planning. Sushant is an irresponsible guy who doesn&rsquo;t plan anything. Their attitudes and ways of looking at life are different and it causes a rift between them. The rest of the story is all about how these parted love birds reunite.</p>
<p><br />Sushant has improved a lot compared to his debut movie. His dialogue delivery got better. You can see him imitating his uncle Nagarjuna in certain scenes. His dances are better.</p>
<p>Analysis: First half of the film is just ok. Second half is boring. The selection of the subject is tricky. If it is not properly directed, a film of this nature will tend to become a boring enterprise because it doesn&rsquo;t have any commercial cushioning. Though director tried to use Brahmanandam to do a rescue act in the second half, it didn&rsquo;t work. On a whole, Current is a low-voltage film.</p>
