Adivi Sesh took HIT2 forward, and now it is left to Nani to take forward HIT3. Nani not only decided to bankroll the project but also play the lead role in the film.

Nani of late is also promoting his films single handedly and since HIT3 happens to be the pan India project, he promoted the film in a unique way increasing the interest levels. The strategic timing of the release with four days long weekend is attracting the attention of all.

HIT3 OTT rights have been bagged by the top OTT giant Netflix. HIT will have more in this investigative crime thriller franchise and it will be more bigger than the Bollywood franchises. HIT 3 (The Third Case) - Story Review

HIT3 revolves around a honest and ferocious cop and how he solves the murders that not only challenges his professional acumen but also his personal life. SP Arjun Sarkar (Nani), is known for his ferocious and violent actions against the criminals. Arjun Sarkar who joins SIT in Vizag to bring an end to the mysterious and brutal murders has a sensational past.

What is the sensational past and what role he played in terrorist hit Jammu and Kashmir and how it is connected to his lady love Mrudula (Srinidhi Shetty), ASP Ravi (Suriya Srinivas), SI Zubair Ahmed Khan (Adil Pala) in J and K and DGP Nageswara Rao (Rao Ramesh), Shinde (Brahmaji), in Vizag and  SP Abhilash (Maganti Srinath) in Hyderabad from the crux of the story.

Nani's HIT: The Third Case: Artists Review

Nani transformed himself effortlessly in the role. Known for his versatile performance and natural and realistic expressions, he lived in the role. He showed different mannerisms and changed his body language to elevate the role of Arjun Sarkar. He made thumping impact uttering powerful and bold dialogues without any inhibitions. He also with his performance at times generates few laughs in a serious narration. Infact Nani carried the film on his shoulders taking the film to new heights. Fans of Nani will be extremely delighted as he is exploring and exploding in different genres rather than get confined to one particular genre.

Srinidhi Shetty did not get much chance to show her acting talent. She is good on the screen.  She even surprises by enacting action sequences. The chemistry between Nani and Srinidhi Shetty is good but it acted as a speed braker in a rather intense proceedings. Prateik Babbar is good in the role of the antagonist. He could have done it more intensity and also his character arc could have been designed in a more powerful way. Rao Ramesh is good in his role but he didn't get much scope to elevate it to the next level. Samuthirakhani is good in the role of father and he and Nani showcased the emotions quite well. Surya Srinivas, Adi Pala,, Brahmaji, Maganti Shinde and others did justice to their roles making their presence felt whenever they appeared on the screen.

HIT 3 (The Third Case) - Technicians Review

HIT3 story is penned by Sailesh Kolanu. He continued from where he left in the first two parts. He turned the film into more lavish and extravagant. Unlike the first two parts, Sailesh Kolanu depended more on high octane action sequences and less on interesting investigation. He decided to turn the film into a more stylish one compared to the first two parts.

He starts the narration in an interesting manner and this time, Sailesh Kolanu even concentrated more on the protoganist's personal life, showing his father played by Samuthirakhani. He turned Nani's character into more powerful and ferocious and targeted genex youth and masses making him hurl abuses and bold dialogues and it made a terrific impact.

The second half becomes more interesting with the protagonist entering into the terrorists den and the surprise cameos featuring two star heroes drive all crazy. The climax is loaded with high ocatane breathtaking intense action elements. Sailesh Kolanu seems to have drawn inspiration from various Hollywood films like Squid Games, John Wick and Kill Bill especially in the second half apart from the other Indian films. The pre interval is breathtaking and pre climax is action packed to drive all wild.

He used various medical terminologies to give credence to violence and he did a fine job. He came up with a decent story and his screenplay is racy to an extent. He did a good job as a director. Had he added few more interesting investigation scenes, HIT3 would have been powered to new heights. He has taken few cinematic liberties and this worked well with the masses.

The cinematography of Sanu John Varghese showed the scenes in a natural and realistic manner and carried the tone and tenor of the film in a powerful way with the deft use of the camera angles and color combinations. The visuals in the forest stands out and it appeals to the viewers. Karthika Srinivas' editing turned out inconsistent as at times, the pace is racy and at times, it turned out to be slow.

Mickey J Meyer's music is ok. The tunes are decent though they did not standout in any manner. He elevated the scenes with his thumping background music. It could have been however more intense in the first half. Dialogues are powerful and impactful. Production values of Unanimous Productions, and Wall Poster Cinema are of high quality.

HIT 3 (The Third Case) - Advantages

  • Nani's Intense Performance
  • Cinematography
  • Powerful Dialogues
  • Pre Interval and Pre Climax

HIT 3 (The Third Case) - Disadvantages

  • Cinematic Liberties
  • Romantic Track
  • Weak Antagonist
  • Extreme Violence

HIT 3 (2025) Telugu Movie: Rating Analysis

Altogether, HIT3 is the most violent among all the HIT franchise. Sailesh Kolanu drew inspiration from the most violent films like Marco, Kill, Animal and other films in this genre. Nani came up with sensational performance and showed once again that he can slip into the role effortlessly and it is for the director to come with unique roles.

Sailesh Kolanu turned HIT3 into a stylish action crime thriller. However the film offered nothing new when it comes to content. He drew inspiration from various Hollywood actioners and should be complimented for trying to show something new to Telugu movie lovers. For all the positives, the slow pace and length issues impacted the film's overall output.

Those who watched Hollywood films and love them, will like the film a lot. Masses may find it difficult to connect chords with the second half as Sailesh Kolanu tried to break free from the set conventions. The film Comes to an end with the lead to next part HIT4. Cameos will captivate all and had Sailesh added more depth to the story with interesting investigation scenes, taken care of the story telling and done away with few cinematic liberties, HIT3 would have it the Bulls Eye. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2.75 rating for HIT 3.
