Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming entertainer under the direction of Vamsi Paidipally is garnering immense attention. The project is referred to as Thalapathy66. According to the latest, Kollywood star, Sarath Kumar entered the project. The makers welcomed Sarathkumar on board for the project and posted "Privileged to have @RealSarathKumar sir onboard for #Thalapathy66."
Speculation over Sarath Kumar's presence in the project surfaced ever since he attended the launch of the project. Inside talk is he will be seen in the role of Vijay's father in the film. Vijay is romancing national crush Rashmika Mandanna and the music for the film is scored by Thaman. The film is made in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages. Dil Raju is bankrolling the project on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.
Plans are on to release the project on Diwali this year if there are no delays and if there are few delays then the project will be released during Sankranti 2023.
