Leading Tollywood actress Trisha Krishnan who chose a path between glamour and traditional roles certainly made a niche for herslf. The 27-year-old tall (5'8'') and petite heroine with her roots in Kerala, has been chosen as the Goodwill Ambassador for the 'Angel for Animals' campaign which People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) will announce on June 10.
After John Abraham, Amitabh Bachchan and Aditi Govitrikar, Trisha follows suit now. The PETA campaign will focus on the adoption of stray Indian dogs and ask people to provide them with caring homes. Trisha hopes that she would be able to help spread the message for the cause. “I think this campaign has a great message—adopt a dog, give him/her a home and treat him/her like a family member,” she told newsmen.
