Shivathmika Rajasekhar made her acting debut in Dorasaani. The film also marked the debut of Vijay Devarkaonda’s brother Anand Deverakonda. Althought the film turned bummer at box-office, it fetched good reviews for Shivathmika.
Now, Shivathmika Rajasekhar has turned anchor. Don’t jump the gun assuming she is going to be another TV diva like Niharika Konidela. But this is about her upcoming role in a film. Shivathmika is making her Kollywood debut where she plays a television anchor.
Shivathmika is teaming up with Gautham Karthik and the film is directed by Nandha Periyasamy, who has penned Taapsee Pannu’s Rashmi Rocket.
Reason For Casting Shivathmika
Nandha has revealed that the star kid has auditioned for the role and she is a replica of her mother Jeevitha. He goes on to say the reason behind casting Shivathmika. He says that they wanted a girl-next-door heroine and Shivathmika fits the bill perfectly.
Speaking about her role, Shivathmika is talkative while Gautham is quite with a rural milieu. The untitled flick has a rural background with kind of Bigg Boss like feeling, says Nandha.
