Of late many top films are getting delayed, not keeping date with their initial releases resulting in utter disappointment to their fans. This has been the phenomenon witnessed not only in Tollywood but across all film industries.
Films like 2.0, Manikarnika, Saaho, Sye Raa to name a few postponed their release dates at the last minute.
An analyst privy to the developments says the makers of these films who decided to use extensive graphics and VFX in their projects failed to realize the extensive effort and time required for the same which resulted in the release date getting postponed.
Since most of the makers are new to using high end VFX in their projects, they are unable to plan accordingly and announce the release dates keeping in view the VFX requirements. Once they gain experience, these situations will not arise in future.
So, VFX are becoming Shikandhis for high budget films and forcing the makers to change their plans on release dates.
